Ca is its own country. They pay no attention to the laws of the united states of america.
If your cat was clogged you'd have issues with acceleration, no power, ect. At least, I did.
if you live in a state with no emission standerds then go no cat just a straight pipe
Ok...got the word this afternoon that cylinder #1 with 75 psi has a valve problem and cylinder #4 with 115 psi has a ring problem...the shop suggests swapping in another motor...bringing me to another question...
Got a couple quotes...
1) recycling yard with a 1 yr warranty goes for about $1k (>100kmi)
2) rebuilt motor is going for just over $3k with maybe a 5 yr warranty
14 hrs @ $92/hr to R&R the motors.......
Questions...
1) which motor to get? or...
2) time to trade it in for something else?
Thanks
get a junkyard motor, some beer. A few buddys a do it yourself. There's a couple awsome write ups that go step by step.
i agree ^^^^^^ it cheaper and a much better time
