How freakin sweet would it be to have direct injection. I know it would take completely redesigning the heads and it would need different injectors and alot of tuning to get it working right. Just to appease my curiousity.. What else would it take to convert our 3.8L supercharged V6's to direct injection? I know im gonna get some people telling me how stupid this is but im just curious because i think it'd be pretty sweet. also what about octane levels?

To research, develop and mass produce for a dying market? If it's not outsourced it'd cost a couple million in starting costs to begin adapting it.
