I have a 2001 GTP with 112000 miles, the supercharger has the rattling noise in it and looks to be leaking oil from end of snout. I have a oil film on plastic coolant tank. Which would mean a bad coupler and seal in snout.
Would it better for me to replaced the supercharger with a rebuilt unit or just replaced the snout and coupler? Supercharger seems to worked fine except for those two issues. It around 200 dollars for a replacement snout and coupler and around 500 dollars for a rebuilt supercharger.
Who has the best rebuilt superchargers? I have seen one company sell them for 650 dollars and another for 390 dollars.

    did you not read?

His snout end seal is gone, so its really not worth his time to replace the coupler then still have the leaking snout seal which in time will get worse.

Try and find a used snout on the forums for under 50 bucks and just swap them when you change the coupler. Couplers are like 40 bucks with oil from zzp.
