I know the main causes of belt area rattle are the SC coupler, A/C clutch, water pump and the balancer. I am wondering if it is possible for the balancer to be making noise only when the belts are on? Car purrs with no belts but sounds like it is going to blow apart with the accessory belt only on.

In answer to my own question above yes is can. Pictures attached.

You didn't show us a balancer. Nice crank sensor shield though. Looks like it was rubbing for sure.
