Hey all, just installed the alternator relocation bracket in my 97 GTP. Had to convert the tensioner from the 97 style to the 99 style and replace the alternator, but i believe the belts will flow better now.
But within the next couple of weeks i get to change my head gaskets, i have a small link going into my exhaust, it sucked that i had to take it to a mechanic to find that out, i had no symptoms of a blown head gasket(no water in the oil and no white smoke in the exhaust. )

so because i need to do this i think i might put my intense stage 4 heads on the block, but a little weary about doing so.

so the issue is, how do i a blow a head gasket on a motor with less than 30k miles, never over heated. the only idea i have i have changed my coolant since i put the new motor in.
also for a daily driver, what do you all think about putting stage 4 heads on, with only a zzperformance stage 2 cam.

    Stage 2 cam?

    No idea.

    XP you mean?

Also...stage 4 heads would be worthless without flow mods really. Just tossing them on a stock car...would it help? Sure...maximizing the gains from them? No.

The block is stock meaning crank and the pistons. the supercharger has 2.4" pulley and the injectors are the Lucas 42.5. It is inter cooled, but i cannot get the water pump to flow correctly, so i am going to convert back over to the flow jet water pump.and yes the zzp xp camshaft.

so is it still a waste to put the heads on?

i would like to put my mp-112 on it, but i could never get the car to run right with the supercharger.

All it does is move the alternator up an inch and back an inch. it allows for the intercooler hose to have more room. i got it from zzperformance.

and why would you want two alternators, you could just get a more powerful alternator, i also have a powerful system in the car and the seperate battery and more power alternator works great. you may want to change the alternator tensioner bracket to the 99 version.

That is nice! I do have a large case Iraggi 300a alt., 4 runs of 0 gauge wire, also the "big 3" eletrical, and a XS power D3100 in the back, but right now I am waiting for a bracket to fit the large case alt. in. I have a SAZ3500D that is clamped at 3600 watts and up to 4400 watts @ 14.4 volts, so 1 300a alt wont cut it. I will be upgrading to a 5-7k amp in the spring, with the same 15" SMD woofer.

So no thoughts about putting the heads on the car now.
But i am starting to think that i may not need to change my head gaskets, i was told i have a bad head gasket, but show no signs of having a blown head gasket. i dont have any water in my oil or white smoke.
