Well a while back my engine started knocking so it ended up getting replaced with a brand new long block. After 3k miles that engine started knocking and now the company is saying they aren't gonna back the warranty so now Im looking for cheapish solutions to get this car going again.

So basically Im open to options but I do want to know good places to look for short blocks.

    Its an 04 impala ss.

low mile L26's for $500 to your door here.

Again, all depends on your market.

they sell long blocks for the most part.

start with L67 bin and go from there.

Unless its a monte where there IS no L67 bin.

Just factor in about four sizes LARGER of a pulley.
