    i have a 2004 gtp with 3" catless downpipe, im putting custom cai on, autolight 104,s and 180 degree tstat. then im going to put a mps hub and see what pulley i can get away without kr. would it make sense to put a methanol injection kit on my car? Now? or when?

    I wouldn't waste my money at your mod level.

    Honestly...even with 100% Methanol you might be able to get away with a 3.4" on your GenV. Also...until you drop pulley sizes, you want the hottest spark possible...104's would only hurt you really. The 180* wouldn't be as ideal either unless your tuned...you can only benefit from a lower temp T-Stat if the fan turn on points are lowered in the PCM.

    right yeah im planning on either getting a guy up here to tune me or get an overkill tune. and i have the plugs and tstat im just waiting for everything else so i can put them on with the pulley. then im going to check and make sure i dont have kr. so what point would i put meth injection on? im really just curious because a budy was talking about his old turbo coupe and how i should check into it and see if its a suggested mod for my car. if anybody has a link to anything explaining it that would be great too. i know what it does just dont have any real experience with it.

    buy some headers, run a 3.6, get a good tune with some good timing and make a crap ton of power.

    and invest in a aeroforce scangauge so you can watch KR all the time and many other things aswell.
