starting to (after too long gone!) put this thing (99' gtp) back together. first thin I see is that the felpro head gaskets won't both go with the 'FRONT" Pointing to the front. bought the complete head set-not individual gaskets. went back to the store and checked another set, same thing. ditto for single gaskets. does this really matter gaskets are symmetrical and would appear to fit either way. am i crazy? any info, thanks, Jim

front goes towards the pulleys. line up the holes.

you can put them on backwards..the coolant just doesnt flow as well.

The front one looks upside down according to ZZP's site:

Front and rear gaskets are the same. They need to be installed with the arrow pointing toward the balancer so the front gasket will appear to be upside down.
