i dont think the wiziar is such a PERFECT fit. there is flaws with it. first of all its held down with bungie cords. and the tubing F'ING sucks. great concept and design but just needs a little work. just my .02 cents

I have been reviewing the CAI from coldairinductions.com. It is a better designed box which is also insulated. This unit is 10x better than the Wizaired by many factors

    Intake Box Includes:

    - Aluminum Insulated Air Box
    - Air Box lid with 1/4 turn fasteners
    - Aluminum PCM tray
    - 9" CAI, Inc. cone filter
    - Installation instructions

Yes that CAI is a real nice looking box but the F-duct boo, the only intake that has a proper intake tube is a K&N FIPK

I am happy with my HAI

All it took was a K&N filter and a $10 trip to Home Depot for a coupler and a 22.5* PVC elbow.

Thing about boxes is that it is usually a 3-3.5" in and only can really be used with stock TB setups. Hell, my HAI needs some modding to fit my car now with a N* and MAF. Also you need to buy another box if you go from non ICed to ICed if you have a wizaired. Dont know about the CAI CAI.

I have a wizair right now that, I'm using a 4" inlet for the TB, with no problem. I have also recently put a wizair on another car that has an IC, just take some time and ingenuity.

the only difference between the IC Wizaired and non IC'd is the length of duct. I used my Wizaired when I had a stage 3 IC and used the same one non IC'd. I did buy the longer IC duct when the Stage 3 went on though.

The Wizaired is not held down with bungy cords. It bolts to the fenderwell. The lid does use two bungy type cords that are hard to see, when installed, to hold the lid in place and one to hold the PCM in the tray. The one for the PCM isn't really needed IMO. The duct does suck and always has even through revisions. I like using the stock fduct with stock IAT location, but it's a little harder to install unless you do a little modding to the box.

I like my MSP CAI personally. Here is a really old picture of it install in my car non-iced...

    Originally installed 6 years ago...

Another picture a few years later, only changes is the ram air inlet for my aftermarket hood...

And here it is today... I've upgraded to 4" ducting, added even more insulation, still works good...

These can be had cheap used nowadays and takes minimal work to upgrade it. IMO a few small tweaks and it'll perform with anything out there.

I'll have to say though, the Cold Air Inductions unit looks damn nice, for looks i'd get that over the Wizaired. Honestly the box design is damn near similiar to a Wiz or Thrasher, only thing the Wiz MIGHT have over the CAI unit is more insolation and a bigger duct, but again that can be upgraded for a minimal amount of cash and after that I don't see the Wiz being better. Heads up, I don't see the Wiz performing much better anyway.

I'm still partial to the MSP design with the lid over the rad support to catch air from the hood gap, but thats my opinion too.

My best advice, do lots of research, get what you like the best... Good Luck...
