Most fuels have 10% ethanol in them anymore.

I know regular and mid grade fuels contain ethanol but shell and husky states their 91 octane contains no ethanol, atleast in my area... Just want to try 94 octane and see if it helps with my KR.

Any ideas fivefinger? I don't understand why I'm still gettin kr.. All the mods iv done were to try and get rid of it, my latest bein the RRs which did help a little bit and I'm almost positive it's not false kr because when the engine is still warming up I don't get any kr...soo maybe if I can get a tuned PCM that'll solve my problem...?!?

the knock sensor's dont turn on till 160-170* so thats why you wont see any then.

I say it needs a tune to help it alot.

its possible some could be false. the o2 sensor might be hitting the tunnel or the DP hitting the sway bar.

but a tune will help with timing and adding fuel when needed to handle the knock.

The o2 clearance looks fine but the DP to sway bar clearance is pretty tight and my front header has made contact with the fan motor so il have to fix that somehow. On my next fill up I'm going to try the 94 octane fuel see if I notice any drop in kr, I currently use 91 octane. Do you think that octane increase would make a big difference?

Get some poly dog mounts, that's how I stopped my headers from hitting my fan. That's gotta be false KR

Always err on the side of caution with KR. Because the bad side of KR is holes in pistions etc.

Fix the known rubbing points and see if that clears it up.
I drink..so consider that when reading my posts.

you can use on 05 pcm to tune, on the 07-08 it makes your fuel gauge work in reverse but other than that you will be good to go on the tune.
