Re: 8.5 or 9.4 compression with m112 supercharger
try comparing the same cams next time.
It might help a tad that all of the XPZ cars are running ZZP Al heads.
Zooms 464 is on E85
m112 Intense's Cam Motion Stage 3 Grind:
1. JohnT w/ 400WHP (I/C, IS3 Heads)
m90 Intense's Cam Motion Stage 3 Grind:
1. Ted Quartana w/ 399WHP (G5 m-90, IS3 Heads, I/C)
2. rsilva w/ 366WHP (G5 m-90, IS3 heads, I/C)
3. Intense 97 GTP w/ 355WHP (I/C, IS3 Heads)
4. DonF w/ 351WHP (I/C, IS3 Heads)
5. GTPMorad w/ 349WHP (I/C, IS3 Heads, non-n20)
Re: 8.5 or 9.4 compression with m112 supercharger
3. Fred Cakanic w/ 421WHP (I/C, G5 m-90, ZZP S3 Heads, 9.5:1) [STD]
those arent aluminum and 10whp more than any m112
i see a 1whp difference between the m112 and m90 on two identical setups

Gettin' a little SNOWY in here.

I was thinking the same thing, but I think it's funny.

Im still dealing with the hybid project I have a set of overkills gen3 plates and will be fabing a genv plate. I havent done much work with the car or the hybrid lately but will get back on it soon.
Yeah, if I knew about the hybrid idea back when I bought the Lightning m112, then I would of got the mustang m112. I was thinking the Lightning m112 inlet would of been easier to modify than the mustang's. So now if I go with the hybrid, guess I'll need a Gen V casing and a Mustang m112. My girl will love that. At least I should be able to resell the Lightning m112 for what I paid for it. The rotor coating on my m112 is bad, but better than most Gen III's.

fred has more money into his car than you can put into a damn house. he also leg humps zzp like it's going out of style (which it has...).
his car is nice, but for the money he put into it he should be making more power and run faster times.
Re: 8.5 or 9.4 compression with m112 supercharger
The way you calculate lift is to take the intake or exhaust number and multiply it times your rocker ratio. That gives you the total lift. The S1X * 1.80 = .579/.592. Do the math and check. I'm not sure if the valve is open too long or too far with 1.84. I knew someone that had done it and it was acceptable. So I did it knowing the headwork that was needed. I didn't forge any new bounds or figure things out to ensure it's safe. Sorry...

No worries. Sounds like I would be venturing into uncharted territories. The m112 isn't that common on the 3800 either, but i don't think it would be as much of an issue as too much lift for the heads to handle. With my math, I figured about 0.591"/0.605" lift using the S1X and 1.84s.
Re: 8.5 or 9.4 compression with m112 supercharger
Likely that's acceptable. I think some of the Stage 4 cams get into that range.
M112 not common? If you want any pics of how the one I assembled for a guy was done, just holler.

Re: 8.5 or 9.4 compression with m112 supercharger
Looks like that's the expensive custom m112 case that I think Intense only made like 10 of. And yeah, post away. Do you remember what mods where on the car to handle the m112. Heads ported? I spoke with Trannyman and some local friends for advice on porting mine. My machinist was quite impressed how good they turned out. Either he didn't have high expectations for me or else I did a good job, lol.

It was for a while, but even built transmissions, my right foot and that motor weren't a good combo.
Take a look at the Red Ripper thread I currently have going here. That's the motor from the Bonne.
