I just replaced the lower intake gaskets and valve cover gaskets on my 98 Regal Gs. I decided to replace the crossover doughnut gasket while I was in there. It seems like the stock crossover pipe is too short when I try to put it back on. On the back side it has an inner pipe that goes into the rear manifold. If I bolt the front first, the back seems to be short and vice versa. Is there a proper installation procedure? Front first or back first? Anyways, now I have an exhaust leak at the back. Damn it I should have left the old gasket in there.
