Ok so we are trying to deduce where my misfire at idle is coming from we are working off a theory that it has to be some electrical so we are taking a look at the timing advance. What should the timing advance be at idle for a 98 GTP???

Are you modded in any way????

Because if its just 1 cylinder that has a misfire and is at idle only that its pretty much a normal problem that will happen with modded cars. Sure not every car does it, but many do.

yeah i have all plugs wires coil is new ICM is new swapped injectors even swapped plugs a couple times to be sure fuel filter is new IAC is new. I do have another thread that i have up just trying to cover everything before i start looking into it being mechanical...cuz we think its a very veyr small chance its mechanical cuz there is no bogging down and loss of power in normal driving or WOT we think it has to be eclectically but any input is always appreciated because as soon as i get rid of this misfire then i can stop worrying about it and start getting mods for this GTP

the plugs i have at AL104 i believe but the misfire was still there with the old tock plugs...and the misfire isnt only in neutral or park its even in drive while sitting at a light and if parcked on a hill facing down you can feel the car rock back and forth and yes it does throw a code
