YouTube - ‪2005 GTP strange noise when reving‬‏

The car is only doing this after taking it for a long drive of at least 50 miles. After starting the car up cold it will not do this and I can drive it around town as much as I want and it'll not do it. In the video I had my wife rev it to maybe 2000 RPMs and no higher. The intake is clamped down tightly in all spots because that's what I thought it was at first.

It doesn't make the noise at idle whatsoever like what cracked flexplates do. I've removed the supercharger belt and checked it out and it still makes the same racket with or without the supercharger running. I've not removed the primary belt though.

Does this sound like a bad tensioner or a water pump to you all?

I think the next thing to do would be to remove both belts and start it to see if the noise is still there, It;s not hard to do. This way you will eliminate, or narrow down the sound.

Or mechanics stethoscope and listen to each one of the accessories.

you could also try turning by hand with the belts off and feeling for any irregularities.

I'll have to try that. Right now I cannot get the car to replicate the noise.

    It's a fickle b!tch, lol.
