My dad's stock 66 Chevelle SS quarter mile time is listed as 14.4. What is the cheapest way to mod my stock 00 gp gtp to a time of less than 14.4?

haha, fine, guess you can't get a straight forward answer around here.

Don't think the site tells how much time a cai/headers/spark plugs/pcm picks up on the 1/4 mile

It doesn't tell you how much time because all cars are different. Dependent on weigh, the driver, and how the car performs with said mods.

Yes, I understand that. Bluegtp told me i needed to "read" (which I had done) before posting so I replied with that.

umm please read your own post. the video even says he ran 14.8's in the info. where did you see 13's? i sat here and searched for about 30 minutes before i posted. so hence i spoke. whats is your definition of stock? i looked and looked and have yet to see a 14.4 stock 1/4 time for a 2000 gtp. let me know when you find a video.

Ive been on the forums for over 7 years. Ive seen cars (GTPS)hit mid 14's stock. SO I think I know what they can run.

Like its never been done, and Ive posted information showing it has. But ofcoarse thats all discounted.... lol

DA is a huge factor. I can run 13.8's at mason and go 70 miles to MIR and run .4 tenths faster. Why? because of over 1Kft differance. Just because a poor driving GXP driver says it cant doesnt mean it didnt or cant

http://www.w-body.com/showthread.php...-GTP-1-4-times Post 12 for the win. and before you call BS you need to know the source of that statement
