Let's just focus on getting this M62 bolted down.

If you stop by, plan to be at my place for a few hours in dirty clothes working some of that help I gave you off. I'll let you borrow a manifold, after we are done for the night.
I drink..so consider that when reading my posts.

You know me, it could be working on a motor, pulling a drivetrain, sorting bolts or any number of things. Do you wash windows?

In Nick (blue's) defense, Nick (flake) has had a G6 trans swap with a subframe for mock up laying around for the last .... year.

Ain't it creepy how I sometimes know way more than I should?

Ya know Flake... I got a Gen V gasket laying at my place. if the holes are close, I say drill and retap. As long as you goop the bolts, you might be able to bolt directly on.

I'm down to pull a motor or swap blowers or fix coolant lines but please don't put me on bolt duty lol

There's so much work in swapping the 6spd... this swap is much easier.

Picked up a lower manifold from Bill today... this whole thing could be a lot easier than I thought. Just gotta find an M62 to mock everything up.

I've extensively reviewed the performance maps of the different blowers and I really like what I see. It's not the ideal supercharger... but its definitely better than the one I got by a long shot.

Ran into a potential deal breaker... The boost bypass valve sits about an inch higher than the blower...

As you can see... where the BBV meets with their manifold is not where the rest of the blower meets... this causes a serious snag in my plans.

im still not getting why you'd want a smaller blower, regardless of efficiency.

can we get a little hint on what the hell you're doing? if it's not twin m62s then i dont know why you're even wasting time with that blower.

Remember...like I said...different isn't always better...I also don't get it. To make the same power your making now you'd have to run a ignorantly small pulley making too much heat putting that blower well out of its efficiency range. Under a 2.5"...they are worthless...proven on the Cobalt forums...at this point you should be looking into a TVS.
