    is there a difference in the Hd and non Hd flex plate and torque converters? i have an L26 and it has the l26 flexplate and converter on it but i need a comp g trans, theres a long story behind this all, but thats neither here nor there. thank you in advance!

    Yes they are different bolt patterns, and the L26 torque converter is also a slightly higher stall IIRC.

    So if i have an l26 bottom end with a comp g trans which flexplate and torque converter would i run? and thanks for your info so far!

    If you have an L26 or L32 motor, the flexes were dual drilled for either converter. You can also use either converter on either transmission as they do fit. Only real differences would be size and stall speed.
    I drink..so consider that when reading my posts.

    so would it be wrong to use the l26 setup in a comp g trans? any pros or cons??
