    this has prolly been asked before but what can i do about a cold air intake for my 2007 3.8 s/c since no one makes em.

    does anyone have a pic of this? im comming from a modified taurus an i had to make the intake myself. i got this car an im wantin to do it right by buying kits for em but how do i do it for this car?

    ZZPerformance, wbodystore, 3800performance all have cold air intakes but there a waste of cash. Do a open cone. I think its a little different of 04+ grand prixs but same process

    since that might be sucking in the hot air from under the hood is there any gains from having a open intake? cause i was thinking of cutting the hood an having ram air ducts put on.

    the air gets sucked int the tb so fast it doesnt have time to heat up

    I was tryin to figure out a way to put it. You summed it up tho. If it makes him feel better he could but a 45* elbow on it and get it close to the fenderwall hole a lil farther away from the motor. Wouldnt be much change tho I think.

    Pretty much. Thats the only reason Im debating pickin up a 45. Ill probably do it out of pure bordom.
