My cruise control does not work. It has not worked for a couple yrs, but since I will be driving my car from MA to FL this summer, I want it to work again. I've been told there is still power at the switch, so the problem is elsewhere.. Any ideas???

3rd break light out?
fuse?
cables connected?
mine stopped working, 3rd break light went out. replaced light and works again

Is your airbag light on and does your horn not work?

Mine stopped working the same time my abs and trac off lights came on....it was the ABS module.

Nope, everything else works (except for the heated seat) Could it be the module?

Cruise module maybe, but if your abs light and trac light isnt on then its not gonna be the Abs module.

Check all fuses first,then answer this....Do you have any external led bulbs on the car?
I only ask cause I know that if you do sometimes it screws up your cruise control. Always start small and cheap bro.

The third brake light thing is wierd to me, how are these too realted?
To put in comparison, it's like saying the cieling fan in my bedroom will not work unless I tell the misses she looks smokin hot before turning in for the night.

i know its goofy but its how our cars are,
you tap the brakes to cancel cruise, if you third light is out. your cruise wont work. i LOVE GMs lol.
