I have a 97 gtp that makes a weird noise turning the wheel. I does it when ever i turn it, driving or parked. It sounds like clicking. click click click click. I can hear it outside the car but i have flowmaster 40s so thats probably why. I can hear it inside and feel it a little through the wheel too. Is there something wrong with the rack?

Intermediate splined shaft needs taken out and greased. Fill tube with grease put rubber cork in end and compress. Refill tube with grease and reinstall. Do not turn the steering wheel during this or you will screw up stability system. Search intermediate shaft and get lube kit from dealer.
