as of right now with the mods im working with 3.4 press on , headers should be in by tuedays, cat/res. delete, 42lb injectors, ported sc and tbody, 255 fuel pump, custom cia, 160 tstat, 104 autolites, msd coils/wires, intense shift kit,dhp tuned pcm

i have a set of ls6 valve springs not installed yet, thinking of going with 105s because im wonting to spray the car as well.

get 1.95's. Might as well get the most lift you can.

105's result in less wear on the tensioner IIRC.

You're doing it right. I'd stick with the 105's though, especially with the 1.95s.

It won't much matter. The stress on the valve springs comes solely from the valvetrain and not through nitrous, boost, etc. So just make sure you're using the right springs for your rockers and everything else will fall into place.

The MSD stuff, fuel pump and res delete are all a waste of money imo. MSD will hurt performance if anything, fuel pump is not needed til close to 400whp iirc, and taking out the res will make your car sound like crap, as will taking out the cat.

    The wires arent bad.

    the coils are.

factory coils seem to be the favourite.

If they aren't better why waste the money on them?

I was under the impression the wires were better but stock seems to be quite alright for a while.

If you want a nice wire look for some ZZP's or PRJ's.

I have always been told they are way worse.

That's what I was going to say next.

What headers make you take your res out? I've never heard of that.

FWIW, glad you didn't go with teh coils. Never heard anything bad about the wires.

MSD coils: seem to break down and start giving high rpm misfires after about six months to a year. Stockers don't typically do this.

ZZP Wires: These are so bad that I advise people who already bought them and bring them to me for an install that when they get misfires they should swap back to stock or something like Autolite Pro wires. Send the wires to ZZP for free replacement and sell them to someone else. Speaking of which..I have a set in a sealed bag. Anyone want to buy them cheap?
I drink..so consider that when reading my posts.
