    turbo link
    ZZ Performance

planning on going to a twin charged setup on my 02' gtp, current mods are:

2.5 inch stainless steel exhaust pipe from CAT
2 flowmaster original 40 series mufflers
    K&N cold air intake
    Speed Daddy headers
    Thunderbolt high flow cat
    Intense Tuned PCM
    TG6 spark plugs
    180 TSTAT
    3.4 modular pulley system

my next step is going to be stage 1 intense racing cams so I was wondering how exactly should I go with this turbo kit? Im assuming for running a twin charge setup I need the twin charge intercooler but why is it the cheapest intercooler on the list of options? What size turbo to get with my setup? Do I "NEED" their TOG downpipe since I already have a 3" downpipe?

just came to realize this is more of a turbo question, sorry for posting in the wrong section -_-

tell me why you want to twin charge your car instead of building a solid setup on either the blower or swapping out to a turbo, maybe ill run with what you want.

however, it sounds like you have no idea what youre talking about.

if you're twin charging you need an intercooler under the blower, run a 3.8 pulley and better have a good tune.

plus do you realize how much tuning is involved in this. Just make sure to have a tuner who really knows what he is doing

well, why would you think twin charging is a solution to making bigger power? you will more than likely have an easier time making power and getting it to run correctly sticking with one or the other.

    twin charge would be fun.

power off the line then large turbo spools and by-passes the blower.

twin charging is a money pit that is only to be "different" your gonna make more power if you just go all turbo because (correct me if im wrong) at the higher rpms the supercharger will actually restrict the turbo....

The m90 doesn't become restrictive, as I have learned. The problem becomes the transmission, you will need a 1" chain that is impossible to get any more and they sell for 1000 plus used.

I'd suggest going with a z3 kit and a/a intercooler.

well eventually this gtp wont be my DD and i really wanted to build the **** out of it. So this seems it would be a much farther down the road job, i might start working on the higher stage heads and cams for now. Not gonne lie though I am kinda anti-turbo because its way to common. Unfortunetly for me turbos are far superior to super chargers =\

If you want to make big power without turbo, consider Whipple charging if you have the money.

Which is why no one does it which is what makes it unique.

yea I think I'm just gonna stick with the supercharger for now. My A.D.D. mind came across another toy Id like to play with, NOS. Of course give it a few days and I will probably wanna go twin charger with NOS xD jk im gonna stick with SC for now and NOS sometime far down the road

    It's nitrous.

NOS is a brand...Paul Walker. Also...CAM...not cams. We have one. If I could do it all over again I would have first bought a built transmission...then snailed it. No reason to do anything else...turbo'd cars destroy basically anything else out there.
