    if IAT'S have zero effect on anything , why did GM waste time and money to install IAT sensors ? ...

    there is an IAT sensor because the temperature is always changing, and the pcm uses that data for stuff. having the headers wrapped isn't going to change the ambient air temp or the temp of the hot air going into the engine from the supercharger.

    Have a look at the IAT timing tables and you will see how useless they are. The PCM will pull a degree or two of timing for temps that you will rarely see, unless drag racing a heat soaked engine in the desert. The PCM does not ADD timing if you make it super cool, only subtracts timing at extreme temps.

    Edit: my crossover is wrapped anyways. All the cool kids are doing it.
