Ok I just bought a 97 gtp coupe and I just ordered the stage 2 performance package from ZZ performance. Now if im getting the ported m90 supercharger do I have to get the ported and machined lower intake part too?

You should port it to match as you will get a little better performance out of it. I look at it this way you port the supercharger to get rid of the restrictions in it so now your supercharger flows better but your still flowing into the stock intake manifold so it kinda depletes the purpose.

And this is what I have to say about any of those sites "performance packages"

the stock intake manifold flows just fine. you only port it a little (gasket match) when you port the intake runners into the heads.

I hope that is the last time you use the phrase "Stage 2" in regards to the mods included in that "package". Other car owners will make fun of you if you say you have a "stage 2" grand prix that is only running a slightly smaller pully, intake and a tune.

HOLY CRAP! And they say it will give you about 40HP! lol I hope they are talking crank.

You may be waiting a few weeks for it to ship as well with how ZZP has been lately.

Or you'll just get some trailing arms and valvesprings instead of your stage 2 kit.

Here is my stage million kit for basic bolt ons.

Mail Order Tuned DHP PCM for a 3.4" setup from members on here: $50
Speed Daddy Headers or SSAC Headers: $175-$250
    180* T-Stat: $5
    AL104's: ~$15
Open Cone or DIY Fenderwell Intake: $30-$50
    ZZPerformance MPS System w/ 3.4": $100

    Nick's safer 3.4" setup WITH headers...ummm...less than $500

    So...how much was the ZZP Stage 2 kit? $679.73 + shipping...WITH NO headers...soooo...over $700 easily.

    Just sayin'...
