My DIC is usually off by about 7/10's of a gallon per 12 gallons it says I use, in the bad direction. In the winter I'm getting about 14 city and 26 highway, summer 16 city and maybe 30 highway. My mpg dropped quite a bit when I went from stock alloy wheels to heavy 18's.
Maybe thats part of my problem ive got stupid crome 18's on it....i bought it with them on it and wish i could afford to get different ones...i just got new tire on them soo id have to get another set of 18's
A little off topic from the OP question, but, with everybody noticing such a loss in MPG when switching to larger wheels (as mentioned above), I think I will keep the little 16's on for a while. Stout new BFG tires will help out the looks and traction, and maintain MPG, because my Michelins are dead.
I've got 235/55/17 '05+ Bullitts...and they are heavy wheels. You can click the link in my signature for mods...I get anywhere from 28-32 MPG's on the highway constantly...mixed city/highway I'll see about 22-24. In the city...if I'm nice to it...about 15-17...but most of the time about 12-14 in the city...because hammering on it from 40 or under is fun...and just leaves 2 nice black marks :D
Yes 3.29's...and the 1st link goes right to it. I just clicked it to make sure...but just incase...you missed it.

you coulda just posted the link to your thread, bah.
I liked the "whoring" part better...plus...apparently teh guy couldn't click "more" on my youtube video info.
Nope that extra click was just too much for me.
Well this sucks...I just reached half a tank on my gas gauge and have only gone 100 some odd miles...idk what to trust the dic with how much fuel iv used or the tm gas gauge that ppl say are usually off lol any suggestion?
^ Maybe you drove with one foot on the brake, or some hawt heavies in the back seat?
But seriously, as been stated, it all depends. Were those 100 miles accumulated making 1/4 mile passes at the local dragstrip?
I will admit that I do put my foot down at times but not an insane amount but I guess that would make sense plus I dint even think about this but we think my cat is clogged...
^ Oh yes, if your cat is clogged you will be getting low MPG, and lacking a lot of power. Best to get that fixed soon.
If the converter is clogged...beating on a car would be the last thing I'd be doing.
Only problem iv got is I can't get the darn DP loosened iv been tryin to get a friend of mine use his air compressor and torque reach but things haven't been working out much.but I do all ready have an o2 emulated on it just have to find a way to get the cat off and clogged
Put some PB blaster on the DP bolts...if that doesn't help...I recommend some manly armz
just break the bolts and put in new ones. that's the easy way to do it.
