Ok so today i went and got a smoke test done on my car to see where my evap leak was. We found that the solenoid thats attached to the charcoal canister is stuck open cuz you can just see smoke coming out of it. Any suggestions? I was told u can take it apart Lube it up and it will work fine...is this true? If not does anyone know where i can get/order a solenoid for not to expensive? need it very soon so i can get the emissions done on it asap.

It would help to know what you drive when you ask a question.
Stumbled upon this: PONTIAC GRAND PRIX Canister Purge Valve from Best Value Auto Parts
Find your part number then go to all the stores and price check.

nope thats the one under the hood. The one stuck open is the one connected to teh actual charcoal canister behind the driver side rear wheel. I was told i could take it apart and lube it up with WD-40 but i tried this today and couldnt get a good view of the actualy solenoid just where the filter goes. So, should i just go ahead and order a new one in this case?
