    hey i recently chaged my motor i have but a 3.4 inch pulley with u bend remove ,cat remove,cold air intake, and 2.5 inch exhaust and colder plugs and 180 t stat, and my problem is that went i start it its hard to start and no power boost wont go up and cuts out wen i take my supercharge belt off car runs like new but with no power of cours cusse no supercharge NEED HELP !!

    Sound liek your knocking like crazy... Mods dont support that 3.4

    if your running a 3.8 now and nothing changed

    maybe you have a chipped piston?

    Are you reading full boost on your gauge?
    2002 GTP: K&N, 3.2 pulley, flipped mounts. ZZP SS headers, 180 stat, NGK TR6's, MSD wires, Reptile ported TB, ported S/C, ported LIM, Intense Stage II heads with larger Manley severe duty SS valves, Yella Terra 1.9 full roller rockers, LS6 springs, Racetronix fuel pump re-wire, Oil pressure "kit", JMB FWI. Mustang dynoed at 240 WHP, 272 WTQ.

    no im not reading full boost som time 2 line thats it and its a motor with 90.000 km and the car runs way better without the supercharge belt it would be a chip piston it would run like **** all the time.

    Check for a vacuum leak? Checked the plugs yet? Have any SES lights?

    chipped piston doesnt necessarily mean ur gonna run like ****... i ran on 2 chipped pistons for almost a year with no signs of it being chipped other than broken spark plugs. check the rubber T under the snout.

    whats the rubber t under the snout and can you tell me if you know whats the sensor behind the motor betwen the motor and the trans its in and hard place to get it out ,,mine was broken and mabey thats my problem

    Can't you have low boost with a bad, is it, boost actuator?

    That is the rear knock sensor. And yeah, it can be a bear to get out.
    That won't be the reason it's not reading full boost though, Either you have a bad vac leak on the lines, or the boost valve isn't closing, which gives you about 4-6 lbs of boost at most.

    Some people run with only one knock sensor working for a while without even noticing it, it's important to have both working though.

    sounds like the bbv solenoid. i just unpluged mine and boost came back
