It works. But don't bother buying one. Make one for like 1/10 of the price.

I forget...what's the advantage of having a alternator voltage booster?

it helps all ur accessories like ur rear defrost works better, windows work faster, headlights slightly brighter. supposed to help ur fuel pump work a little easier. nothing big like it'll give u 10 hp or anything but i figured it would be nice to have and wondered what other ppl thought.

I got one for ****s and giggles...didnt do anything..

Noticed a slightly higher voltage reading on my volt meter...

windows were no faster, seats heated no fasted, rear defroster wasnt any faster...
didnt help any headlight dipping on hard hitting bass...

basically a waste of $20 IMO.

and actually the first time I tried to start my car with it on, it had to crank for a few seconds..which it never has before.

No voltage booster and I see 14.5 V on a regular basis. You don't want to go much higher than that.
