gm does 1 thing right, and that would be build motors. transmissions, exhausts, interiors for sure, they all suck lol.

lol i had a 4l60e on my 97 WS6. i blew it and rebuilt it a good 3 times. then got tired and then did a t56 6 speed swap and never had a problem again. there ok for daily driving but once u put sticky tires and a few up and down shifts they just blow. lol

    2.25" catback stock as well.

This is what i wanted to know......... what transmission is this going in front of?

I'd love to build a car like this but whats holding me back is the limited transmission options.

lets see if tomorrow i start her up and let her idle for about 20 mines to make sure there's no oil or coolant leaks. once thats done ill just drop her and maybe if i get a chance take her to get the y pipe adapted for the newer manifolds and then hopefully find a good shop to get her tuned. im having zero luck with tuning here in miami fl.

he can make equal length headers work, it doesnt matter with his car. he can make it sound good with exhaust.

What if you could drive it there?

If you have a spare PCM to send somewhere temporarily and had a place to test drive the car within a short range of the car's current position.... Someone might be able to create a file that would at least be drivable for that distance. May not be the most fuel efficient and you may not want to get in to it too much, may even set a DTC along the way.. Bug given your manual transmission, if you can get it started and have a tune that is good enough for the engine to keep going without killing itself.

Or, if at a minimum, you could find someone with a PowrTuner willing to at least flash bin files in to it..

well guys i ended up going to the junkyard this morning and getting a 97 gtp computer from a completely stock car there. i got home slid mine out the tray and put that one on and spliced in the map sensor pigtail and map sensor from the same gtp. i put on the belt and started her up and man she sounded perfect. there are still a few things here and there im taking care of but yeah i might get her tuned in the near fulture. i want to make sure i have a wide band and boost gauge at least so i can see whats going on. as fare as daily driving i might start Monday. lets see how it goes.

hey guys one more question, im running 97 gtp injectors and tb, l32 engine and supercharger, and headers. im planning on getting an inter cooler. are these injectors 33lbs or 36? how far down in pulleys can i go safely? whats the limit of the stock injectors, and if high ratio rockers worth it?

They are 33#, and you max them out around a 3.1pulley.
Going to a full intercooler setup, you can drop pretty damn low, 3.0 territory. Rockers are a good little boost, but you're much better off running a cam, since you're going to be inter-cooled. Minds well make use of all that cooling.

With a full size IC, headers, correct plugs, and a good cam, I dont see why you couldnt run a 3.0, or even into the low 2's with good heads.

Probably upgrade to 42# injectors if you really want to max it out.
