Will the new style aluminum oil pan on my top swap surrogate fit in my regal or do I have to reuse the metal pan? If I can use iit are there any mods needed

IIRC, you have to mod the cradle to fit the alummy pan...can't remember though.

You just have to shave either the cradle or the pan on the motor mount side a tad to clear it

So if i use my aluminum pan, can i use the new style mount (not the horse shoe) and bracket assembly that came on my l36? If so is it just a drop in or do i have to reuse the horse shoe bracket?
