For my birthday i bought myself new exhaudt for my car i got 2 flowmaster 70's and took the resonator out.
really love the sound of it at times but lately i have been getting a TON of drone inside the car. like bad enough that i dont even want to drive it.
so i was wondering if i were to put the resonator back in if you think that would make a difference or do you think i'd be better off going for something else? any suggestions for other mufflers? personal favorites?

Put a glasspack in there and get rid of your sh1tty chambered mufflers you wasted a bunch of money on.

Agreed. I have Flowmaster's on the Dakota (4.7 V8) and it sounds amazing, does drone a little, but wouldn't think of putting them on a GP to be honest.

I made same mistake you did except also added a 3 inch catless DP. Same as you like it at first then it bugged me. Tried the stock resonater back on and it got a little better but still has a decent amount of drone. as they all say the best exhuast is stock for these cars, at first I was not a believer but have been proven wrong. Just waiting to have extra cash to redo the brand new exhaust

how is dynamat in the trunk gonna help your drone issue? That's a huge waste of money right there.

If you have to do flowmasters the best is a glasspack and 40series... but even that sounds like crap and chambered mufflers period have bad flow issues.

You need a free flow muffler with a good glasspack in place of the resonator. Gotta have a resonator of some kind or you will have a nasty raspy sound.

Dynomat is a waste of time and money. Okay for sound systems but there are other ways of sound proofing cars, but if you don't have one you don't need the crap

The sound comes from the tips, which is beyond the rear bumper.

The rear deck and seats provide plenty of sound insulation.

My buddy dynamats under his rear seat and all of his trunk in his DSM's...and it helps...a noticiable difference. They also are full 3" turbo backs...no resonator, converter...just a mongo-sized cannon at the back.
