nah... what benner said.
he woulld most def have a flashing ses light if plug wires werent plugged in or crossed wires on cylinders.
yeah i did and my ses light is flashing like a mother ****er
but all were correct, tomorrow im going to clean maf and check all vac lines, sensors, ect
hmmmm recheck wires... front bank is 1-3-5 rear bank is 2-4-6. if theyre not on like that. thats prob ur problem.
it could really be that simple?? ill sure as hell get to checking
also make sure theyre all on tight.. on plugs and on coil packs.
okay thanks.
tomorrow im checking:
MAF
Plugs
Wires
o2 sensors
other wire harnesses
correct me if im wrong but my understanding a quick way to check if the maf is having a extremely poor effect on the car is to unplug and the computer should go to a default based on temp and rpm? i did this before but not sure if it applies to gp's
^yes.
so then do i start to see if it starts up smoothly? or what?
start it up... unplug maf.. if it stays running its your maf.
really? okay ill try it.
I bet he cracked a few plugs putting them in.
and if he did...? whats the fix? when you say plugs you mean the female right? not the actually piece you plug in
he means actual spark plugs.. prob cracked the ceramic.
they are talking about the actuall spark plugs that screw in its very possible he could have craked the insulation while putting in the new headers
okay, so can i just feel around and see if the plugs are all intact? and if they arent do i replace all the plugs or just that one
