Alright I'm going to look at a 2000 4door gtp tomorrow about 90miles from me . I've talked to the owner a few times about it and he has sent me pictures of the car and it is in great shape inside and out. It has a new jasper transmission in it also. And he only wants $950 for thw whole car the catch is it does not start. He thinks the motor is bad and that all it does is click when you try to start it and that he bought it that way and was gona get it fixed for his son to drive. He swears the motor is blown and it needs replaced but I don't know what all he has tried if anything at all. I'm going down in the morning and taking a breaker bar with a 15/16 socket to see if It will turn over by hand or not and I'm going to check for shavings in the oil. I'm thinking that maybe its something simple like a bad starter or silinoid but idk for sure he also then said later that the po before him said it was a headgasket problem but again I will not be able to see for sure until I go look. Anything I should try or look for whn I go to see it? I may see if he will let me pull a few plugs to inspec them. I really don't ned this car but I've always loved them and for the price it aint bad if I could get it goin cheap to dd for a couple of years and then rebuild.
