Once in a while when I'm just going normal speed, just on normal throttle I will hear a weird sound kind of like marbles bouncing around in a pan, coming from the front of the car and you can kind of feel it through the peddle. If you let off of the gas and go back on it it goes away. Anyone know what this could be? It doesn't affect performance while its doing it but I just don't want it to cause damage down the road.

Blip the throttle from under the hood. It could be the blower snout coupler. Cheap and easy fix if it is.

That's what hes getting at. You will hear the Supercharger Coupler rattle. Also in the colder months our cars are quite noisy with the custom intakes due to the motor warming up and it sounds like marbles in a can sometimes.

The noise isn't from the intake Rebecca...its from the IAC.

As for marbles...check out my facebook videos I've been tagged in...there are two start up videos of my car...the 2nd one is with a bad set of rotors and S/C coupler. You can hear it clear as day since I have my catback on. Annnnd...its nasty. Good way to rule out anything blower related is to just take off the supercharger belt and start it up...yes its safe...just dont beat the crap outta it.

Good point, take off the blower belt and drive the car, just don't go full throttle.

But.... the aftermarket intake lets you hear it more than the stock airbox ever did. Nancy...

But with the supercharger, you'd more likely hear it when idling in drive then when on the throttle... at least that's how it is for me.

You can get the oil from any GM Dealership / Parts Dept. Probably cheaper too.

Ya the noise isn't from the intake or Iac I know what that sounds like. It only happens once like every othe drive. So if I take the belt off it will stop or do it all the time?

Yea zzp oil is much cheaper. I paid 10 for a 6 ounce bottle that will fill my charger compared to 7.99 for a 4 ounce bottle of gm

ZZP is just a bunch of crap.

Quit feeding their mouths over there with junk oil talk. GM Oil only...I used ZZP oil and it went bad FAST. Just take the belt off...its fine for the car. If you take the belt off and the noise stops...then you know its supercharger related...the end.
