A clogged cat would decrease vacuum and increase boost

Re: Low boost on a 3.4 setup
yeah, one of the nicks said that.
now disconnect the lower vacuum line on your BBV and see what happens.
Re: Low boost on a 3.4 setup
Bad BBV valve (more then likely), or belt slip or a bag gauge

Because it was a joke, job guy.
Re: Low boost on a 3.4 setup
I tested the BBV and it seems to be working. Im about to go get a new belt and try that out
Re: Low boost on a 3.4 setup
Well got it fixed replaced the belt and cleaned the air filter, will be putting the DP in soon!! THanks for the help.
Re: Low boost on a 3.4 setup
put the 3.8 pulley on....
Re: Low boost on a 3.4 setup
if i put a downpipe in and ubend delete why would i do that
Re: Low boost on a 3.4 setup
dont buy a downpipe, just get headers, they are $220 or something crazy low like that.
evan with a dowinpipe your exhaust isnt flowing as much as it should, youd have to replace the front exhaust manifold as well. this is why the headers are great. front and rear mani, crossover, down pipe, and ubend all taken care of
Re: Low boost on a 3.4 setup
Re: Low boost on a 3.4 setup
the 3.4 setup with the large downpipe and ubend delete
