So I did the install with not many issues at all. I made sure all pipes fit prior to install and also made sure I had everything I needed to finish the job right. I did have to lower the subfreame and I also removed the MAP sensor and bracket too. This made it so easy to slide it in. I sealed all the joints with copper RTV and I have no leaks as of yet. I started around 1:30 and finished with clean up and shutting down the garage by 9:30. I also had to extend the front O2 and hammer the hell out of the tunnel for it to clear. All in all they came out great and I am very happy with the fitment. They sound so amazing too, what a huge diffrence over the manifolds. Thanks for all the input too guys, its really helpfull to be on these many great boards and do the research first. Now time too upload my new tune and Ill be ready for NED on the 25th. Here are a few pics foir everyone.

    a few things...

    1) I'm actually digging the engine cover on some cars...it all depends
    2) Yay red RTV...and I thought I was the only one LOL
    3) Get rid of all of those misc. bullsh1t brackets (ex...one behind the coil pack, 2nd to the left of the right dogbone, and third by plug wire #2 and #4...then again...you might want to keep that one since you have a engine cover)
    4) Its way easier to yank the fans and ratchet strap the motor forward than to lower the subframe...just a FYI

Thanks for all the compliments, I personally like the look with the engine cover on, the subframe was easy to lower in the back, took 5 seconds to do with air gun and I lowered it just enough to sneeek the rear header by. The clamps are from NAPA, my buddy got them too me for 9 each. I do not have a cat in there and have no plans of installing one either. The gains were noticable for sure, I also noticed a huge diffrence in the response and also how much faster it revs out. I couldnt be happier with them. Sounds so much better too. It actually reduced the exhaust drone I had quite a bit.

Lucky you dont have emissions. I have to have it every 2 years here in MD so im a little skeptical on what to do when i install my speed daddy headers.

So...just go buy a fake cat from Frozen Boost...its a old converter casing with a straight pipe ran through it...so when welded in your exhaust it looks like it has a cat...done.

Or if you have a tailpipe test then get a magnaflow 99009HM cat.

You can pass with that cat and no EGR in ontario.

Mass. has some of the stricest emmissions test in the country actually. But I used to runa wholesale autoparts store in the area and know all the shops and have pull at everyone of them. Plus with the HPtuners software I will remove all codes from the system so they never even scan. Problem solved.

If they dont do a tailpipe test then your emissions standards are laughable.

Hey nice pictures and you have given me the confidence to buy s.d. headers and install them by myself, but i have heard there are 2 different types to buy, one fitting better. How would i tell the difference? Also, what looks to be the difference between the once that cost like $205 and the other ones costing around $185? I typed in gtp headers and they showed up. Thanks.
