so i installed the zzp fuel logs and noticed 2 things... 1)on the highway i am pegged at 160* when usually I heat up to 200* (been like that forever, goes back down to 165* when under 60mph) but now no heating up at all! so thats a good thing...

and now the bad... for some reason when i floor it it hits 9* of KR!!! did it twice thinking it was some fluke thing but wasnt. before the rails I hit MAX 3* but even thats was rare...

any idea what the hell could be going on?

X2 what Bio said. Sounds like the FPR is off or not getting vacuum/boost.

Sounds normal, It should read 42psi when idling under vacuum. Do you have the FPR line running to under the snout nipple on the lim so it sees boost? When you crack the throttle the fuel pressure should jump up aswell

you need a gauge to check if its dropping off once you get into boost.

OQCGP :: Ontario Quebec Club Grand Prix Third picture down shows the Lim nipple. You may have a t there Im not sure. But if your pulling vacuum from anywhere else for the FPR then thats the issue. The FPR is a rising rate 1:1 ratio . It raises 1 psi per boost Psi.

ya but does it literally have to be on that exact point? or can it just be anywhere on the vac lines connecting to it? curently its connected to the vac line running from that point to where it runs behind the engine...so wouldn it be the same thing?

Should be okay there. Can you post a scan? Does the needle on the fpr rise as you snap the throttle. If you pinch the FPR vac line or disconnect the vac line does the gauge read higher pressure?

sounds like the fpr is operating correct. Id look at the tune next. Are you on stock injectors? Pump rewire?

stock injectors and no rewire... i wouldn think fuel rails would cause that much of a KR increase though?

Your injectors are undersized. Your pumps probobly falling off. Scan would confirm this. Fuel logs would not effect coolant temps. Sounds like you have a Wide open Thremostat. Lower Coolant temps would also increase spark timing WOT by a few degrees if your running the stock Add table. This could be where your getting knock. Also I think 145 degrees Coolant temp is where the car goes from open loop to closed loop fueling. If its in open loop its not reading off the oxygen sensors. If the gauge is pegged at 160 and not moving its hard to tell what your ECT is reading

So you need to replace the thermostat or the Coolant temp sensor. Post a scan when you get to normal operating temps so we can see where your Injectors and pumps siting at

Im not scanning with a tunner though all i have is aeroforce... I just wouldn think itd be a pump or injectors because it was just fine before the logs... and the coolant isnt bellow 160 its sitting right at the top of where it says "160" i checked the aeroforce and it says its 166 to be exact.
