because it basically is. i think its a taylor boot.
I'm fairly certain its written on there
its a spark plug boot. keeps the headers from burning the wires. intense sells some.
So does PFYC...for a gazillion dollas
Id run stainless forsure, And the stepped ones seem to seal better then the flats. (ive used both)
youll be fine ^^^^
Okay cool.
Just make sure you later up the slips with some copper RTV
Glass cleaner :p
I've always used Mother's polish on tons of things they even tell you not to use it for...and it works great...try that in a small spot and see if it works for you.
No, color wise your right, they won't change back since they are stainless steel...he was just trying to get rid of water spots
yeah the header wrap covers most of mine. but im considering taking them off and getting them coated
I wouldn't coat stainless...it looks awesome
Plus stainless really doesn't need to be coated... or even wrapped for that matter.
I got my SD headers installed yesterday. The guys rushed it because they stayed after-hours but I'm going back tomorrow to finish everything up. Had some fitment issues on my regal where the crossover meets the rear header, so they used the u-clamp that came with the kit. fortunately no issues so far. Will hopefully post some pix later today. I noticed a big difference in throttle response, nothing else spectacular, perhaps after a pulley and good tune I should be on my way..
Have fun getting them back apart if they tightened down the horse shoe clamp like they are designed to be.
okay so after further inspection, i pinpointed the drone to the egr.. besides deleting, is there another remedy to correct the leak?
