Thread: s1x or xp?

What should i go with fellas. I don't know much about cams but I want a good cam. Im planning on going e85.. I have the injectors on the way.

My engine is a top swapped l36 with mods in sig.

So what to choose and why? Please help.

I say s1x, b/c I love mine.

s1x > xp all day.

I never ran the six but I love my XP

FUCVK YEa i got a good deal for the s1x and seeing the votes thats what ima do!!!

xp is a cookie cutter cam and has more of an upper range powerband whereas the s1x will make less peak power, but have more midrange, where these cars lack power in general.

usable power > peak power.

And a bigger cam sounds cooler. I already gave you my 2 cents Cody...get it done.

theyll sound similar to one another, but lope slightly differently. they arent' THAT different of cams.

XP: .520/.536 116* LSA
S1X: .514/.526 115* LSA

Hmmm...the XP is bigger...and it sounds a little better...but dyno to dyno...your not going to see stupid amounts of difference in power.

Plus i can get a good deal on the s1x soooo thats my way i think

do it, you wont be disappointed.
