Ive got a 99 Grand Prix GTP and just the other day the motor took a crap. I found a guy that has a 2000 GTP engine already pulled out of the car and the price is right. He has the harness and Computer that goes with it as well.

My question is will putting a 2000 engine in my car work? And will it be fine to still use my PCM or should I use the one that comes with the new engine.

    THanks.
    Martin.

Same engine, you can use your stuff or his. But go ahead and use your PCM.

I was thinking it was 98, maybe I'm wrong.

97/98 MAFs are the same, 99-03 are the same.
