Im still getting used to my new l67 engine and was just wondering but the engine gets alot hotter than my old l36 used to. Im not overheating or anything....i just happened to touch the engine and it gets alot hotter than my old engine. I guess the l67 engines work harder than the n/a's huh?

    really ****ing hot.

My blower will still be warm for 5+ hours after its been run.

Its a solid mass of metal, it retains a lot of heat and for quite some time....

My headers will be cold long before the engine itself cools down.

My car usually runs around 210 but i dont have the colder stat in yet and im running a 3.4 set up lol. Id say in general these engines do run pretty ****in hot. I have a few nice size blisters across my knuckles from barely touching the headers the other night.

Wow. Good thing i added my 180 tstat like 3 days ago. Ever since then, the temperature gauge is pretty on the low side.
