I have an 01 GTP just got it about a month ago i made a cold air intake with a spectre and 3" pvc, changed the supercharger oil(Very much needed) and got oil changed. I'm trying to do all preventative things to keep my car in good shape. I went to clean the throttle body and there seems to bee a metal filter thing over it. Any help would be great, thanks!!!

There is a snap ring that holds it in, take that out, then the honeycomb pulls out.

Yes. You put it back where it was and put the snap ring back on. That MAF screen is fragile though...be careful.

How do you remove the snap ring and reinstall it?

Snap ring pliers craftsman. The first ones I got were in those tool bins at napa. They bent the first time. It's much easier with a good pair, just put the tips into the holes of the snap ring give a good Squeeze and remove. Opposite for install.
