got a few questions. heres my list of things to do before i topswap my 2000 gp.

    port and polish the blower
    port the TB
    port the LIM.
    get headers and catback.

I figured since id have the motor broke down id put in rockers/springs to go along with the topswap. my question is, what do i need to do to install them, as far as supporting mods? what is my best choice to get? i plan on having this as a DD but i want it to be fun.

porting the LIM is only worth your time if going I/C is in the cards.

Porting the TB is only worth it if you're going to tune the car yourself or get a custom tune.

Take the heads to a machine shop and have them ported.

Having your heads/blower ported will net great gains with headers and a custom tune. Especially if your gonna run Methanol or an IC...should be able to run a 3.4" on the daily with a decent amount of timing.

I plan on ordering a set of speed daddy headers. i was readin an older thread on them yesterday. they seem to be ok for the price. Does anyone know any tuners around the Toledo area? Id much rather have a custom tune then a canned one. what would be a safe pulley size to run if i have headers, heads/TB/LIM/Blower ported.

also Blue do you know what mods i need to put rockers in? Im still learning about this kinda stuff. I figured since id have the heads already off to put em on there. those are my main concerns

You dont need the heads off to install rockers, but all you need is some #105 springs and a new stock replacement timing chain.

not hard at all. If you have the heads off for a top swap you would swap the springs out in about 10min.

seems pretty easy if you have common sense... dont make any major changes at one time... slowly up/down tables and scan as u go.
