BIGGER is better for these cars, then when you get headers and a tune and everything else, it just works alot smoother.

Seriously dude, just do 4" if you're going to do it. The price difference between 3 and 4" PVC is almost nothing. And the price difference in a hole saw...well they're both ****ing expensive at that size.

    3" pvc = 7 sq. in

    4" pvc = 12.5 sq. in

And when you add the length in there and turn that into a volume yes, you can get a **** ton more air into the box by going with a 4".

BUT with bringing in more AIR, you still want a way to get it out, if you know what I mean. COUGH "headers/plogs" COUGH.

just do the fwi from the how to section its much better in my opinion it actually separates the filter from the hot engine bay http://www.grandprixforums.net/fwi.php
o ya and put the air intake temp sensor in the actual intake

You can't have both a PLOG and a set of Headers.

There's no need to bring back a dead, pointless thread...6 months old that went no where anyways. In FACT...most people zip tie them to the throttle bracket. So THERE.

    Hah.
