    hi there im new to this for i have a 1997 gtp and when i start it it makes a funny noise like a growling on idel but when i rev it up it stopes plz help if u know the issu thanks

    more about the car? CAI or FWI? if so might just be the thingy that bypasses the hoot'n'skoot while the engine is cold and warming up.....lol...been wanting to use dem dar teknickle terms

    Most of us aren't? Diagnosing a car over the internet isn't the easiest task without a video or a description of the problem that is worth a sh1t.

    first thing i thought of is the sound of when you have a dirty throttle body. does it make a weird sound when turning the car off also?

    Yea, cause I got esp.. and can fix any idle issues. STFU and know wtf you are saying before you speak.

    Possible Cause:
    Vac leak
    Exhaust Leak
    Wiring Issues
    etc...

    To the op, use the search button and read up on what's caused the issue for others. It is called troubleshooting. There is no quick answer...sorry.
