i know how to mod this car, i dont need a lesson how to. but i was wondering what mods would be most beneficial and cheapest to start with. i have a cai. i was thinking of doing a ubend delete and i have a ported blower to put on. how much HP would i see there? then after that could i do a computer? or do i have to have more mods. i wanna get the tuned computer but only if its worth it. also real simply, could someone tell me which computer is the best? i heard zzp isnt too great.

If you want to drop pulleys, I'd say skip the u-bend and put a set of headers on there. The u-bend will only give you.....5 hp maybe. I don't like anybody tuning my car except for me so that's up to you.

Most people run headers, smaller pulley, CAI, colder plugs, t-stat.

Note: no one here cares about HP numbers since they're basically useless. Most people who mod care about 1/4 mile ET's though.

And on a basic 3.4" setup 250 to the wheels is pushing it. These aren't HP motors they are TQ. monsters. Some of the fastest M90 setups don't even touch 400 to the tire.

headers, CAI, 3.4 or 3.5 pulley, 180 stat, autolite 104's, 1.9 modded rockers, PCM (either canned or tune it yourself).

230-240 whp, lots O' torque. Some cars respond, some don't. Mid to high 13's depending on traction. End of story.

Depends on what you want out of the car too...my best bang for the buck mod was the heads I had done and the cam I bought...but the modular system is a must for anyone modding.

How is a modular pulley system manditory? I don't have one or plan on getting one. Are you saying this purely as a convenience feature?
