Ok i have a 97 gtp supercharged which the engine popped. I have a l32 engine I wanna install and do a top swap. I have read tons here and managed to confuse myself lol. I wont need to mess with the pcm will I ? I have swaped heads and front of engine where needed. What else do i need to do if anythiing. Also from your guys experience does engines hold up ok? This car will not be ran hard my wife will driving it.

    Thank you in advance.

l32 is already supercharged no need for top swap there. Maybe you mean l36. You will need a custom tuned pcm to run a top-swapped l36. If you say its your wife's car and wont be run hard, why not just leave the motor NA? It will still have plenty of power, and make things a lot easier on you

the car is already a supercharged car snd blew it up.. so it has the boost guage and wiring for the l67 thatis why i wondered if my pcm would work since it is on a supercharged car? the wring was totally diff due to new engine being NA and car being SC.

no you need a new pcm because of the new motor's high compression and other things
