Okay. I got my gaskets today for my lim job. i have a ported supercharger im putting on. My question is do i need to cut the gasket? the first picture is a weird angle but shows how the gasket is going over where the h-bar was.

what is that long shaped hole below the circle valve.

the last pic the yellow part is where the h bar was, and the red is the part the gasket is covering.

cut the gasket to match the inlet of the lim and outlet of the blower (should be the same). the 'long shaped hole' is where you could tap for some grease fittings to change the bearings inside the blower case. right now it means nothing for you.

also, i noticed you made two threads so i deleted the other one. please be considerate.

it will eventually rip off and your motor will have to eat it, so yes it matters. cut it correctly.

but you said to cut it to the lim. which would involve me not cutting it. so i should cut it to the blower then?

cut your lim to match the blower then. why was the h-bar removed to begin with? you have no intercooler.

no, its not bad, but why not open it up to match. you can do it with a hack saw if you want.
