i think the 3.8L impala 9c1's used a high output alt probably around 200 amps. I couldnt tell you if it will bolt on to your car though

Stereo, lots of lights, or feeling that you can boost a semi without worrying.

its sorta pricey for a built up alt. some where around 220 and with that extra power you are going to need to upgrade your power and ground wires from the alt. and batt.

you probably would be better off buying a 2nd battery for the stereo, definatley cheaper

wont help unless you want to "bump" when the cars off, not on.

Find a local shop that does repairs or custom work around you.

I know its silly but a stereo, I've had this amp and sub kicking around since my young adult years and want to put it to use. The only proper way to add this Is to add a better alternator.

Thats fine I live about 30 minutes away from the Canada US border at the Grand Portage, MN crossing. What would shipping be to Rydens at the border? PM me a price of alternator and shipping please. Heck if yer close enough I may even come pick it up.
