    Well i recently locked my motor up....

    YouTube - The death of the 99 GTP motor Number 1.

    Anyways i decided to tear it down a little... I was not happy to see all pistons looking happily at me

    i agree.. looks like people dont belive in oil changes. i have put less the 1,000 miles on this car.

    Damn, that sucks. Too bad too cause I just trashed 5 good pistons/ 6 good rods, a good crank and block cause I needed to get rid of them.

    i have 3 gtp's this is my 1999. I also have 2 1997 gtp's I have a good block, But im probably going with forged pistons.

    Did you check the oil in that car before you bought it?? That oil looks like it must have been tar and changed what 50k miles ago?

    i was just going to say piston #2 looked like it was up higher than it should be....then i scrolled down and seen you just pulled it out the top lmao.

    that sucks dude...i got a buncha pistons and rods ill sell though haha

    Yep, Checked the oil. Looked new (it prolly was LOL) checked the fitting for the coolant, It was fine, Coolant was nice and green) it was prolly all changed. I only gave 750 For the car. It has been in a front end wreck.
